[Bombast]

Well, only one poll left in this series of time advancement - The Experimental weapons. The ones not in common usage in the possible timeline, but still present. Let's do it!

Unlike my other polls, I wont be dividing the tech by faction, only by type. Each weapon will have what faction is belongs to listed, however. If a weapon you want included isn't here, it's probably here.

Rules, as usual.

• The cut off date is 3068.
  
• This list only holds experimental weapons. See here for the poll with advanced weapons.
  
• Rather than allow only one choice, I've left them all open. Please only choose the ones you want to see most, and refrain from carpet bombing the whole list. We all know everyone wants everything, I'd just like to see what stuff everyone want's most and why.
  
• Mech mounted artillery, melee weapons and special munitions have been excluded.

Ballistic

Hypervelocity Autocannon (Inner Sphere) - Hypervelocity cannons have greater range and velocity then their standard cousins, at the expense of greater weapon weight and reduced ammo per ton. Comes in 2, 5, and 10 ratings.
Improved Heavy Gauss Rifle (Inner Sphere) - Heavier than the standard HGR, the Improved version weights less and does less damage. It does not, however, suffer from the same sever short range damage bleed off.
Silver Bullet Gauss Rifle (Inner Sphere) - Often referred to as the 'LB 15-X,' the Silver Bullet fires a cluster round similar to the LB-X autocannon. It is unable to fire solid core munitions.
Mech Taser (Inner Sphere) - Mech Tasers fire a harpoon at the target, dragging a line with it. Once attached, the line is electrified, and the target suffers from a variety of ill effects, potentially even shutting down. The firer may suffer from system feedback as well. The Mech Taser is unaffected by targeting computer, and the firing system may explode when struck.

Binary Laser Canon (Inner Sphere) - Also known as a Blazer, the Binary Laser Canon is actually two large laser housed and fired together. It's range profile and heat levels match that, but it only does 1.5 the damage of two seperate laser systems.
Bombast Laser (Inner Sphere) - The Bombast Laser is a variable yield weapon, it's damage and heat depending on how long the user lets it charge. A favorite on Solaris 7 due to it's visual impressiveness.
X-Pulse Lasers (Inner Sphere) - X-Pulse lasers combine the benefits of pulse systems with the range of the standard laser (Exempting the Small X-Pulse, which has the range of an ER Small Laser). This comes at the expense of heat.
ER Pulse Laser (Clan) - The ER Pulse Laser has greater range than the standard Pulse Laser, though not as great as the ER Laser. They weight the same as Pulse Lasers, but produce greater heat.
Chemical Laser (Clan) - Typically used on vehicles, Chemical Lasers make use of a 'shell' system, trading the typical laser power amplifier system out with disposable canisters of toxic chemicals. Chemical lasers, in practice, are essentially Inner Sphere standard lasers that use ammunition.

Missile

Enhanced LRM (Inner Sphere) - Enhanced LRMs trade tonnage and crit space for a reduced minimum range. Compatible with all advanced targeting systems and ammunition that the LRM is.
Extended LRM (Inner Sphere) - Extended LRMs have a greater maximum and minimum range than LRMs, but are significantly heavier, and cannot use special munitions or targeting systems. Unaffected by NARC.
Streak LRM (Clan) - SLRMs apply the principles of SSRMs to the LRM missile. These systems cannot make use of advanced targeting, and lose the ability to indirect fire, but have superior tracking capabilities. Like SSRMs, the SLRM cannot fire unless it has a possible lock.
