Its simple, The axe is a weapon mount on an arm that you cannot remove from mech, You assign it to a weapon fire group like any other weapon attack, When you push the fire weapon of that weapon group all other systems go offline you are unable to move and unable to fire other weapons or activate any other system; you hear a charge up like the sound of gauss rifle charging you see its arm move up ward ready to swing, then it comes crashing down with a 10 meter range attack that dose 100 damage to where ever the axe hits first as a melee attack. This damage would count as energy and done you have a perfect mech idea, you can sit behind a building waiting for that careless pilot to come charging around the building right into you for collision damage and wham! he dead or wish he was. This can be applied to any and all melee based weapons on future mechs or implemented as a stand alone mech with a unique feature that will change the feel of the battlefield with less people just running up into other mechs without fear of doom.

Also I would like to see some sort of feature for us in units to at least be able to customize a drop ship, its color or its weapons, the logos something to give our lore family name a feel like I am a merc with my own drop ship and mechs that I field. Or just have it for those who own Units in the game like guild homes and set up some rewards we can work towards for enhancing our drop ship / space cruiser maybe utilitarian military support such as helicopters or field tanks as support call on CW drops like an airstrike but instead they drop 2 - 3 tanks to support the war effort.

Not gonna happen. They'd have to fix the already broken collision system first. For that matter though, your damage value is unrealistic based on the game history. Axes/Hatchets only ever did mech tonnage / 5 damage, so a 55 ton hatchetman did 11 points for its axe. Hell even an axe attack from an Ares class, if they had arms wouldn't do your ficticious 100 points.
