If you depend on LRMs all the time to play you should adjust your playstyle. Chances are you're wasting your potential.

Try LRM brawling (200-300 meters away) instead of standing back at 900 meters and being useless. You'll notice you do 2-3x more damage.

If played right (and with bay doors closed, learn to live with the fire delay), the Archer is pretty good at LRM brawling. Much better than the Catapult.

Actually, the "next patch" after the BK release only fixed it ****** hitboxes. The BK was released on Sep. 22, Oct. 6 patch fixed the hitboxes. What actually pulled the BK from **** to top tier was the quirk change on Dec. 1.

It only takes enough complaining over Twitter before Russ realizes "oh poop, we gotta fix this stat!"

The funny thing is, I've given this advice to make sure it's "done right" the first time so people would actually bother to keep buying more packs... too bad that's totally lost on mechs like the Vindicator.

Offensively? Give the Big Racks on the 2R a tight enough pattern to make it worth taking LRM15s or 20s. and this is what I was waiting for.
I was thinking to buy the pack if archer would have been fine as srm brawler (being lrm in a sad state).

A SRM brawler is a death wish, you have to run with the bays open and there goes a lot of your toughness. I got my refund, so I won't have the Archer in my mech bays making me vomit every time I go to my heavies.

Never seen a good srm brawler before, out there?

The only thing that pgi screwed are quirks...

The archer is fine..i have np with it at all..i dunno why so many players whining..its a great mech.
ITS A SUPPORT MECH not a frontline fighter..quirks are fine hit boxs are fine..perhaps ppl should l2p insted of expecting the mech to play itself....l2p insted of whining and crying becuz ur new toy wasnt OP flavor of the patch
I play archer alot and i luv it..i pwn players all day long in it.
