Seriously PGI .... out of all the things you can offer, previous mechs as previous loot bag grand prizes, this is pretty sad.

You just released a bunch of new (C) mechs, why not put one of those as grand prize? Would at least be somewhat similar to previous events where we got Centurion-AH and Timber Wolf (C)

This little thing, I don't care if it's new .... very disappointing.



yes it does look nice but really, that's not the point.

Just for clarity we didn't get a Centurion (C) it was an AH.

Just skip the events. It's not worth the frustration of dealing with those who are suicide farming for loot bag pulls.

Also, for those who want free ****, complaining that the free **** isn't good enough is just... look if it isn't worth your time don't play. That's what I do.

Green beer Grand Prize?

I'm glad they finally came out with a green beer but cockpit items, especially standing items (which I have 50+ of) aren't very Grand for grand prizes. It doesn't even move.

It's not the "I want more free stuff" that gives me issues. It's the fact that, during the span of the event, the matches can be horrible as folks suicide farm. So that's approx a week of dumb matches if you're really unlucky. Some folk play this game exclusively and to essentially tell them that they have to avoid playing for a week because PGI are making people grind for a cockpit item is, IMO, ******* stupid.

I remember reacting with mock enthusiasm and surprise to my lance mates when getting the grand prize item. You're right of course about it being a pretty piddly grand prize but is it worth complaining about? Not really, PGI setting up the pot of luck event at all was pretty nice of them, I'm not about to let a piddly grand prize let me lose sight of what is a legitimately good event.
