Already have like 10 threads devoted to this topic. I honestly don't know why everyone is so ecstatic. We have two tanks with torso twist fighting... They don't even walk. They are just tanks. When we have MECHS fighting then I will get excited.
Exactly.Call me when they actually WALK.

I'd be excited too if these competition tanks actually were actually progress. Seriously there is no progress made here at all. Things more elaborate and technologically advanced than this were made for movies in the 1980's. The animatronics for Jurassic Park are 150 million times more advanced and sophisticated.
And if you want to see really amazing animatronics and things that are like 10000000 billion times better than anything than these stupid paint ball tanks, then watched the movie In the Mouth of Madness. The monsters in that are all robots.
Seriously the animatronics in many old movies are more advanced that many of the things from Boston Dynamics which is saying a lot. Luckily Boston's work on the Atlas project has proved to actually be quite innovative and has actually progressed really well. Before that most of their robots were no more advanced than many robots used for films.

your probably right, but i bet they could make it better with a better budget, if the budget is high then i would feel somewhat disappointed.
