Hi I have noted something odd with my ONI-V when ever an Ultra AC-5 gets destroyed in the right torso both are destroyed never just one on its own. I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this or it is just my bad luck.

Depending what you get hit by, RNGeesus has a fair chance of splitting the Crits evenly (assuming you Crit Padded the extra 2 slots) each UAC has a 42% chance to be hit by a Crit, or if those 2 Crits are empty, they both have a 50% chance.

If you're getting hit by Lasers, they crit in tiny chunks, but a Gauss Crits for the full 15 every time it Crits.
So, a 25% chance to lose 1 UAC, or a 17% chance to lose both UACs (as if it rolls 2 Crits, on an otherwise empty torso, you're guaranteed the other UAC will also be hit for 15 Crit damage with that 17% Crit roll).

TCs also add to those percentages.

But, RNGeesus being RNGeesus, and PGI's choice to not let us see Crits...there's not much to check. I can only say, it's not unlikely to lose both UACs around the same time, depending where the Crits originated from.

OK that makes sense it is just odd in the hundreds of games I have had in the ONI-V in FW and quick play the only time the UAC-5s go is together. It has even reached the point where if one Jams I am left wondering has it just one blown up and I missed the notification so I pull back and wait to see, but so far it has always been a jam or both blown up. unfortunately the build has nothing to pad the location with other than ammo.

Could also be a bug. Worth submitting over to support per email. They usually are pretty fast with such stuff, since it directly is being forwarded to the dev in charge of this.

yeah I will do that it does seem odd like the 2 uac-5s are sharing the damage/HP or something a the SRM in the other torso goes more often.
