Waiting around is not fun.

Russ and Paul thought it would be more immersive if you sat around and waited. Nah, they were just looking for a way to lower how much c-bills you were earning. So, that you would buy more packs and premium time.

Zero reason to. No idea what they were thinking.

Because that's the rule. By agreeing to the TOS, you agree to play by the rules. The rule of those modes, is that you have to wait until the conditions are met.
This isn't exactly a hard concept to grasp.

Great point. Doesn't mean it's smart to alienate your players by doing something REALLY boring to them.

You signed up for a 15 minute round, don't *****.
I signed up to play until the round ended, and the round should end when everyone is dead on one side. In Conquest it kinda makes sense for the game to keep going, but only while the enemy team still holds a cap point. In domination though it effectively impossible to win after your team wipes.

at the point where it is no longer possible for the dead team to win the game, it should end. this happens for example in conquest, when the red team is dead, the blue team have at least 3 points, and blue's score is higher than reds. at that point it is impossible for blue not to win. that should be game over.
the problem with domination is that it does draw everyone into the circle to brawl, so usually when the last guy dies, you are likely already in the circle. so long as someone is in that ring and there is enough time on the clock, the game will win. thats not entirely true, but it would take an act of blatant stupidity not to win. you would have to actually convince everyone to exit the ring and let the clock time out, which is even more annoying than the minute wait.
i cannot imagine that a game developer would be so inept at basic logic to get that wrong. which makes me think there is alterior motive behind it. to make players wait additional time, probibly to keep the server usage down. the canadian devil is at work again.
lets face it, pgi's attempts to get people to play the modes has failed. it still plays out as skirmish every time.
