All other premium time prices are a rip-off due to the time spent not playing. The free premium time given away during events are meant really juat to be used during that event.

Premium time is the same - it's your subscription to MWO. PGI just made a mistake by showing hours and minutes remaining... they should have simply stopped at days and had all Premium time expire at 11:59 pm UTC.

I have about 70+ million cbills with three open mechbays, but since there hasnt been any cbill sales in ages, I just keep saving up to no end.

or if in USA $12 is about 1.25 to 1.5 hours minimum wage at a crap job. This sounds more than fair.
During an event the award of Ptime is free and made so more people stay in game while helping MM have a wider pool.
Do not complain say thank you.

As someone who dumped more than $60 Dollars into the game, I don't think I have to say thanks.
Probably that's more than 50% of the players on MWO. If I have to guess, only 10-15% of the players here have spent more than $100. I know there are some players who probably have been dumping serious amount of $$$$ since the alpha/beta days.
Anyways, just making a point here that perhaps people would be willing to come back and spend more time in game if premium times gifted/bought didn't run out while they are at work or have to tend to real life things.

It's already in effect
But 1 month isn't granular enough, 1 week would be better, or even down to less if they had the heart.

You can do this from your forum profile. If OP takes issue with his day or two of premium time won in an event being wasted, I doubt the one month activation will help him much.

People got jobs, and real life happens, so yeah its just a complete waste if you're not playing 24/7.
I would be buying PT all the time if I knew I could use it economically a little at a time vs throwing a pile of cash down for a week or month of PT, when about 2/3 of it is just wasted because I'm not glued to my PC for that entire time.

What I'm trying to point out. At least someone gets my point.

Being able to activate PT per month is already nice. Per week would be even better but that's up to their accounting department. Anything more granular is sheer greed on the customer's part. My EVE account is also paid per month. Whether I log on or not.

I'm a casual player with probably about 2 years of premium time banked up. I hardly ever use it cause I'd be wasting so much of it based on my play schedule, but if it was on a per week basis also I'd use it a lot more for those times I got 4-5 days to play regularly. This works in PGIs favor too as I and I'm sure other players will start actually using their PT so will be more likely to purchase PT when they run out.
However I wouldn't be against them converting Premium time to online time only even if that ment a time decrease to 6-8 hours to per day ratio.
