This thread got me thinking about all the dusty mechs in everyone's mech bays. Rare Mech Weekend is a way to get those unused mech into the game again. It's a simple idea using existing mechanics:

Score 150 points in a quick match and win a grab bag prize.
The catch: you can only score 1 time per mech variant.

Yeah, old hands with packed mech bays have more chances to win, but I think it'd be cool to see some of those rare mechs on the battlefield. Allow trials and everyone can score at least a minimum number of times.

Maybe set the prize bar low to make this more about the fun than the prizes.
Maybe give away a couple camo one shots for random mechs.
