"well flank in your brawler" ---Sort of hard to flank when the majority of your team is playing peekaboo with the enemy and going out SOLO is soo smart!
"be patient" --- isnt that the same thing as watching your teammates get wrecked at battles between 500-700m? My AC20 and SRMS are OP at that range....
"just play for fun" -- its not fun smashing my head against my desk because 6 mechs got wasted in 3 minutes and Im still waiting for mechs to close within 500m...

As Coolant said, players have been asking for large maps (even much larger than the ones we currently have) since day one.

Sensor range is really a non issue. After so many years of playing vs ECM mechs do we really need the dorito to hit them? Are we really concerned about LRMs? Most of the infowar in this game falls under 'immersion fluff'.

Lasers aren't the only long range option.

Anything with dual gauss, or Mauler MX90 with 5AC5s should do fine on Grim Plexus.

But to say they are making the meta lasers is BS. SRMS are meta as well just for certain situations, lasers are also meta for certain situations.

Taking a brawler in the solo queue has ALWAYS been hit or miss. Brawling takes some degree of coordination.. your team has to push with you, and you can hardly ever count on that in the solo queue.

PGI is completely reactive in their development strategy. I don't think they have a single original thought that makes it to development. They just take what the community screams about the loudest, put on their perversion goggles, and make disgusting homonculi of our wishes, kind of like the whole clever genie in a bottle gig.

I have my best games on that map in a BH Brawler 7 ML and an AC20.

I say brawlers with me, we flank while the pokers poke (which keeps enemy heads down) and before you know it you are on the flank listening to the music of kill after kill from you and the brawl team.

which shows exactly the issues with short range weapons in PGI.
