never had issues vaporizing victors with 2 alphas in a ST.
given that, they can't even stand the tanking abilities of some IS heavies.
victors needs some balance. geometry pass or serious structure quirks. also grasshopper-like JJ ability.

Ehh, just quirk them like an Atlas, it's the least PGI could do after making Victor owners wait soo long after the great nerf bat attack!

We need more people to ask Russ bout helping out old Vic. I've tweeted him 4 times (spread apart) about it, with no response. I know that Russ is a busy guy, which is why I've asked more than once.

Okay - so no pop tart future - I agree with that, by the way. But - resize the mech, give it top dog tank ability, give it some fast twist, accel and decel, some groovy weapons quirks - like rapid AC 20, etc - perhaps rework those hit boxes a little, review the hard points, etc.
Bringing back the Victor is easily done, if PGI ever decided to do it.
Make it dangerous and nasty.
That's what I want to see.
Victor should be respected and feared, not laughed at.

I played in my victors for awhile after the mobility patch. I removed the xl engines and went to standard ones. I was pretty impressed with my score and how they handled. Inner sphere xl engines are garbage Imo. My DS goes 69 kph and carries a ac 10, 1srm 6, 1 srm 4 and 3 medium lasers..I had 3 kmdd, 2 kills, and 840 damage in my first match in over a year in it. That rivals my scores with my dire wolf or warhawks. You just need to remember that a Victor is a support assault. It's not meant to go toe to toe with something bigger...treat it as a heavy mech and you will be much happier.
