The Domination is unbalanced right know because the access to the circle is not equal for both teams. First you need a fast Mech to gain a advantage and force the enemy to push into the circle then there is also the possibility for one side to set up a firing line and punish someone try to stop the cap.
A very helpful feature to equal it out would be a 2min cooldown on the cap. So it would give both sides time to get in position before anyone can cap and not just favor the team with the faster Mechs. The other solution would be to ensure that both teams have equal Mechs (the same amount of fast Mechs, long range, brawler, ECM...)
