If You Could Only Have 1 Mech

Please back up with Smurfy
Mine is the well rounded ACH Prime with 6 x Small Pulse and ECM. Starting to really like the fella.

OK, everything considered, I will pick the Hunchback.
I love Catapults (possibly my favorite BT mech), Marauders, Ebon Jaguars, Timber Wolves, etc... but for MWO, I think I'll pick...
The Hunchback.
It is small for a medium, has good speed, and with quirks is fairly durable. It has a good mix of loadouts across the chassis (ballistic heavy, energy heavy, and even missile heavy). Only thing really missing is the JJs or ECM.
Basically, many other mechs I have I only like a variant here or there. Maybe I like Catapults, but I really only use the Jester or K2. I like the Panther, but I onlly really like the 10K. If I had to pick one mech, I The Hunchback has different variants I like so that I can take a different mech out for each mood. Maybe I'm going big A/C20 Boomstick, or I feel like a 9MLaser Swayback, or I want to run SRMs. The Hunch accommodates all that.
Plus, the Hunchback is so iconic:)

An easy choice for me, as she is my go-to, all-round best performer right now:
WHM-6R
She eats things in close so very, very fast.

But when the Phoenix Hawk arrives, I hope that will be my new favourite. 6 jump jets, ECM, big engine, 2MGs and 4 lasors of some kind.

It's boring, but if that is all I ever got to play ever again, and I still want to play CW, then I'd say probably say a T-Bolt 9Se. 3LPL, max armor, at least a std 280, and a couple jumpjets. Jack of most trades.
If the question is more open ended and I can have a single mech and build it a variety of ways then a Quickdraw 4G.

I kind of figure he meant that too, but I picked a whole chassis because, well lets face it, you need at least 3 chassis to fully skill the mech up anyway.
Even if that was the case, and I had to keep one, I'd still pick the Hunchback. The might pick the less iconic Hunchback 4P vs the 4G though. Love the 4G, but do FAR better in the 4P.
Overall though, I love playing so many mechs, and so many play different and are all fun, so that picking just one individual mech is so hard to do.
And...I guess Smurfy...
