Welp I spent a whopping 10-20 seconds on a very basic idea of the footsize and scale of the original Nightstar art, assuming a few traits...

....and immediately decided I didn't like it.

No amount of scale-changes could produce an acceptable "feel" for the foot. Toes aren't flexible. The design... stolen from the Rifleman's Macross version art. So I probably won't be using the original feet. Heh. Least we got that much down.

(Feet shown: Shortpainter's Blackjack, depicted Battlemaster art [who made it?], and Nightstar's original art. All minus ankles).

The Nightstar's original art isn't the most visually pleasing... But it's good for reference.

I probably could but I'm personally trying to avoid that in favoring of going for Battletechy else it would conflict if shown with the other ones I'm making.

Though having seen the variant list I see why you want to see it drawn. It won't make it into the game without more variants and pgi is afraid to invent variants.

I can try to find a happy medium, it's not like it has a pivotable head to lock in place. In which case it won't have Krigg's arms (and I love those arms).

Afraid to invent variants? Several mechs have invented variants & both the Mauler & Enforcer have 2 invented variants each.

But in any case, happy medium sounds great.

I went for more of the details from the mini, because the only TRO picture provided has the second worst angle possible. Worst being a shot from the rear.

FLG 01 was hoping someone would be willing to do a ComStar or WoB Nightstar, maybe his invented hero Xaver Murr's Ultor. (You can find it in the OP of my Nightstar thread in my Sig)
