Very decent mech, 2 PPC 2 UAC5s on the 6R are such a nice change compared to laser vomit on every mech.

Imo...marauder would be a better buy. Didn't care for the Warhammer at all.

Just look at the leaderboard event scores. I'd say it's definitely better than RIfleman and Archer :D

Yes unless you're weird like me and insist on keeping the arm PPCs because of nostalgia.

Took me three laser alphas to bring down a Warhammer with exposed CT. All these IS mechs with 20+ CT structure quirks are really throwing off my calculations for the shots needed to kill them. Posted Image

I hope you enjoy them, I bought them and they have become my go to Mech here just like they are in TT.

The Warhammer is great. It only stops being great if you try to make it into the TT Whammy. In other words, low arm slung PPCs are a no go and, quite frankly, some of the builds simply suck donkey balls if you try to keep them stock. Basically, treat them like they're an Awesome and you won't go wrong. Then, scrap the TT builds and go with weapon locations (i.e., PPCs in the STs) that make better game play and builds that play to the strength of the build. Imo, the 7S is pure garbage but, if you don't mind being brawly or utilizing a lot of different weapon groups, it can play alright.

My builds are as follows:

6D - 2x PPCs, 6x Medium Lasers, 280 STD, max armor, DHSs, and AMS while the
6R - 2x PPCs, 1x UAC5, 4x Medium Lasers, max armor, DHSs, and AMS.

Are you kidding? 2xLPL, 4xML, 3xSRM4, 3 tons ammo, endo, 325XL, cram as many double sinks as you can fit, the rest is armor. It hits like a truck. Yes, it runs a bit hot, and the XL is a bit fragile, but if you stay on top of your heat management and know how to bob and weave between and around friendlies and cover, you will outright murder people. And all you need is 3 weapon groups.

Op? Nope, base line of what a sub Assualt Mech should be for the IS, yes. The Archer suffers from a number of problems that have come together to form a perfect **** storm of failings, that is the Archer.

The BW does insane dps with the 4 AC5, doing 20 dps/sec. You do 100dmg in less than 5secs. Its now my preferred Fire support dakka mech over the Jager-DD

Begins looking for AC nerfs.

I like the Widow with 3x UAC5 and a STD280. Damn hard mech to put down, compared to the fragile glass cannon you get, in the XL Jagermech.

The warhammer is alright. It can run some decent dakka builds. And it can run slightly weaker LPL ML laser vomit. Its strength are its relatively higher mounts.

I wonder how the performance would have been if they would have used their first design:

Warhammer is actually pretty cool. Shame it doesn't come with JJ, but that torso mount is excellent -- reasonably high, really close together, it's good for convergence. So I would suggest you to build something like this:

WHM-6R PPFLD-Dakka - 2x PPC + 2x UAC5 [150], 13 DHS

This piggybacks on the PPFLD meta, with the UAC5 shells reasonably converging well with the PPC bolts. And once on cooldown, you can still dakka your way in fights. Watch the temp gauge though.

Very good IMO

Up until this change in season I had the 6R, 6D and BW all in 3 k/d, now my poor 6R is suffering from a horrible drought.
I got worked soo bad today it tanked my k/d.
