Looking For A Centurion Alternative

I've a few other mechs parked in there mech bays, but honestly that's all the do right now, being parked in there mech bay collecting dust or worse, they have started to rusting or something.
I simply keep coming back to my Centurion's, neglecting my other mech's.
There configuration might not be the best of choice, but they suite me and I've grown used to them, making changes usually results I revert back to my old configurations after a few battles.
With them being mastered and all, I've collected a sick amount of XP points on these mechs. Every now and then I cash in some XP to GXP, and that GXP is just sitting there to be used for something...
Honestly I'm not exactly sure what it is with the Centurion that draws me to it, my configuration usually limits to close range brawling distance, AC20 or and LBX10 combined with SRM's.
I've had my share with Trial mechs, but I've not really crossed paths yet with a mech that has a very similar play style like the Centurion's has provided me.
Can anyone recommend me a mech, that will come close to the play style of the Centurion (and no I'm not looking for another Centurion Variant or a different load out). May it be in the same weight class or one higher…

Medium - The Cicada3M is a brilliant little dakka machine if you can make do with a torso restricted gun mount. The shadowhawk and enforcer are also solid picks.
Heavy - The Dragon is a pretty similar 'Mech, given the ballistics arm. The Jagger 'Mech is a solid choice if you want more firepower in a stand-off fight.

If you want to go up in tonnge, you could try a Victor. It doesn't get a lot of love in the quirk dept, but has a big gun arm I think.

The Hunchback also fills a supreme role in versatility while promoting a similar style of "putting your best face forward" type of damage rolling.
If you want to upscale a bit and retain your mobility the Battlemaster can rock upscaled builds to the Centurian. If you forego ballistics you get a really nice shield arm on the left. The Battlemaster has great shield arms in a brawl but can also serve as a fantastic mid range hill humper.

I haven't had much luck with SRM Griffins because of range limitations, but that's just me. The chassis is amazing in itself. I've had much more luck with the HBK-4SP, 2x SRM6+A & 2x MLs. It runs like a 2 year old drunk on energy drinks. Again, neither adequately replaces the Cent.
The Dragons play an awful lot like the Centurions. You may want to look into those.

Has shield arm hell you can have 2 shield arms if you like! and can do any build you want.
Ac20, srms and if you get tired of close range its also is a great sniper.
Great torso twist (left to right - up and down) and speed

For mediums, I also enjoy the Cicada 2A and 2B, and Shadow Hawk 2H, 5M and 2K. If you have any free Cicadas (loyalty or challenge rewards) they might be a good place to go next. They are stupid fast

For whatever reason I didn't enjoy the Blackjacks I bought. They were overquirked, but their durability is more reasonable now. Some of them have odd engine limits, less than 250, that make builds awkward. I just never felt like I had them fully figured out.

I've given the Hunchback a shot, but it's bulky right shoulder is very open for attack and impossible to shield because it's sticking out so much. Might take me some time to adjust to it's handeling and I might even overcome this oversized right shoulder, that at the moment is really bugging me.
I've also given the BlackJack a go and I must say, it handles quite well. I can't apply the in you face approach as much as I could with the centurion, but it's high mounted arm weapons allows for some nice shooting over cover and hill slopes without having to expose 2/3 of your mech to ensure you typical arm mounted weapons don't waist there shot by hitting the ground.
The Cicada is a bit of an odd duck, it has two tiny shield plates for arms, with most variants not having any weapon mounts in them, they can make very good shields if you remember to twist. It's speed high mounted shoulder weapons make it ideal of the shoot over the hill with a PPC and vanish again. I never really like PPC and energy weapons that much, but I must say, its very amusing with this mech when combined with speed.
I very much appreciate all the suggestions and I'll continue to explore the other mechs suggest in due time.
