Alright I know this sounds crazy but while i I'm in game on mechwarrior my ping spikes up from the 70's to the 200's and even 11,000. I don't know why this is happening, my internet is fine. I run a GTX 670, 16 gb ram, with an amd FX-8320 processor at 3.5 ghz. I appreciate the help!

Im suspecting packet loss, are you using wifi ?

Happens to me fairly often due to playing on 3G wifi though.

Clearly, you need more RAM. Trust me, I know loads about computers.

1. Check Steam to make sure it's not downloading anything
2. Check Windows to make sure automatic update are not running
3. Check any other programs to make sure they're not updating anything
4. Check your siblings / roommates to make sure they're not downloading anything

If that doesn't help
1. Open command prompt and type: ping www.mwomercs.com
and see what kind of latency you get
2. Open command prompt and type: tracert www.mwomercs.com
and see what kind of route you have
3. Check you ISP for any known outages

Other questions:
1. Where are you located?
2. What kind of Internet connection do you have?
3. How fast is your Internet connection?
4. Do you use a wireless router and do you live in a built up area?
5. Do you experience issues with other online games?
6. Which MWO servers are you connecting too and does the issue only happen on some or all of them?

Additionally:
This belongs in patch feedback, not general

Go to pingtest.net and test your connection for packet loss. Try different servers.
