I know the current speed cap is keeping it out, but would we sacrifice the stock engine size or MASC to get the mech into the game?
--Base speed of 162 still makes it faster than most IS lights and would be the fastest clan light. We could use the tonnage saved from MASC for load out (near as I can compute, it's got about 4 tons of pod space as is).
--Lower engine size and make it run 169-ish with MASC enabled... again, would free up some tonnage and increase usable pod space.

I don't want to sacrifice anything from the fixed base configuration. I want to be able to drive my Fire Moth in all of its 200+ kph glory!
I'm willing to wait for a game engine change to let this happen. I'm patient and have other 'mechs to keep me entertained while I wait.

Agree with Teleforce. The ludicrous speed is what makes the Fire Moth the Fire Moth. And if we can eventually have that speed, I have complete confidence in it turning out to be a capable and effective mech.
