Are the servers tanking? I'm seeing mechs moon walking harder than a Michael Jackson show. It's like living in Thriller.

I know it isn't just me because I'm playing with a decent sized group of people varied throughout the world. Fix it please. I need to shoot mechs without warping on to another map.

I haven't logged in for the last few days, but I did see a few threads claiming the server is acting up.

Finally... someone else seeing this. I'm in game like normal, then around Noon Eastern time I get triple the normal latency. It has remained at horrible levels since. And it's not normal lag... it says 180ms, but feels like 1800ms with it hopping around and taking a long time to lock targets.

I have run into issues on websites where the server manufacturer or other client/server side tech will issue an update that will have unforeseen issues with a small number of users with very specific machines that interface with your machines. Your clients will see your product as the issue, but if you role back the update you may have even greater issues.

It really stinks because after you get the duct tape out to fix it, you just caused another future issue to be loaded into the gun. You do know that if you tell your boss that it will honestly cost X to fix the issue properly, the boss then looks like a jerk for saying that base of customers are not worth us doing the job, but my ego will not allow me to say this. I am not saying PGIs server are perfect, I have just seen this happen too many times. If you work as part of the online food chain, you get used to the fact that the "king has no clothes".

It was cleared up by this morning, all is well again. Trace routes from yesterdays issue seemed to stem from Canada, the qc.ca hop is where things got slow. National internet map showed some issues in the region as well. So Canada owes me half a day of premium time. Who do I send the letter to?
