Let's not forget the Forum Statistics Update thread, in which basically the known males on the forums outnumber known females about 47 to 1 (or 2%).

I have been in all female Guilds in WoT, WoW, Ragnarok (IRO) and Linage II... I knew alot of Females that rolled Male chars or Male Names just to hide from males because they get harassed every minute...

But Like I said, there are some Man Eaters out there, and they enjoy the harassment and give back far worse then what they receive, ive seen some cocky guys shot down badly in front of their Male friends lol

So it appears to be a self-induced problem then. Hiding to avoid harassment instead of dealing with it in a permanent fashion. Meanwhile those who thrive on drama, white knight syndrome and punishment enjoy a more or less target rich environment causing all kinds of fallout and bad vibes. Perfect disaster.
