The Team Captain will receive the entirety of the Prize Pool money and is solely responsible for distributing the winnings to their Team


The way I read that is, if your team wins, the team captain gets the opportunity to shaft his team, with no recourse for the shafted members of that team.

So, I have a question... do the teams get to go all Merchant of Venice on the team captains if they decide to keep all the money themselves, or will PGI do the right thing and ensure that the prize money goes to the team members?

Sure, give the big impractical and completely fake check to the team captain for the media photo op, but for the love of all things beautiful, don't give the team captains the temptation to shaft their teammates. It surely is not such a difficult thing to work out what an equal share is, and to give each team member their due.

If you are playing games for money, it is not that difficult to arrange some contracts between the team and the players as well if you are worried about that. Or how do you think this is handled in esports usually?
