PGI doesn't need anything but model the hardpoint locations, and copy my CHiPs paint job. They jsut need to decide which version to emulate.

I hope they are saving up such "easy" implementations for the time while they work on the engine upgrade...
Like you said those are low hanging fruits.

If you think about it, there are plenty heros "missing"...

Personally I want a Wilson's Hussars themed hero. It would be able to mount only half the armor Points of any other mech its class and at any time at the start of or during a match a third of its systems and weapons will suffer spontaneous Critical hit destruction to simulate the Hussars' constant state of never having enough money to repair their mechs.
