Quickdraw-4H Build?

There is already a thread about the perfect Quickdraw build, but it is over 2 years old now and I am unsure if it is still a good match for the Quickdraw-4H. Here is the link to it:

My question is - is this still a good build for this particular 'Mech, or would many consider it obsolete now, with all the new 'Mechs that have been released since this thread was posted?
Currently, my Quickdraw-4H build is as follows (and seems to work rather well for me in most battles, save for Forest Colony and Crimson Strait:

1x ER Large Laser
3x Medium Lasers
1x LRM 5 (Artemis)
1x LRM 10 (Artemis)
(with a total of 720 missiles)
1x Jump Jets
1x BAP/Command Console (varies on equipped item per match)

Would this be a good build considered for most pilots, specialising in long-range fire support and brawling or would those who tend to pilot the Heavy-class and fire-support roles choose more convential builds, such as replacing the LRMs with SRMs/SSRMs and lasers with pulse lasers and/or PPCs?
As for the Jump Jets, I would rather keep one equipped, as it comes in quite useful, in any map, but with the BAP, should I replace it permanently with the Command Console since the Command Console is more useful than the BAP for a long-range fire-support 'Mech?

It a terrible build look like a jack of all trades no synergy in cooldown or range between the weapons. Drop the command console it waste of 3 tons.

I have a very "to each his own view" of builds. That said, you did ask for criticism so here goes:

I would not run LRMs on a QD. Lore be-damned. If you insist on doing so, then I think this is certainly a good way to do it (I'd probably go with 2 -5s in place of that 10 however, and lose the CC. Yes the 46% acquisition bonus is nice but with so few missiles it isn't worth the loss of 3 tons. Also the "long range fire support" role you seek to provide is illusory IMO. Everyone ends up in the brawl one way or another and you are gimping yourself with the LRMs.

Related note: on the H you have 3 missile hardpoints. If you are only going to use 2, you may as well run a G. Better missile cool down quirk there.

For me, the QDs structure bonuses (atm) screams for me to get up close an personal. Plus I think of the QD as thee mobile heavy so I like at least 3JJ and a big engine when possible. As such I run mine with 3srm4s, 4ML, an XL350 and 3 JJ to help me get me to the target quickly and to help keep me twisting and moving -so as to better stay alive once I get there.

Variants on this theme play with the engine weight to get SRM6s, Artemis and/or MPLs to taste. Go over to the "stormtrooper" page under the FRR thread in community warfare, there, there is a variation on this theme that the ISEN folks are trying to make as a standard component. It will give you and idea as to how you can play with the H's configuration.

I run this one on my 4G so forgot to post it earlier it trade a bigger engine for 3 DHS then the XL300 but the heat managent still good. The 3 lpl work on the 4H,4G,4K i just prefer it on my 4G and build something else on the other quickdraw for variation reasons.

SRM6 doesnt work on quickdraw his center only has 4 missil pod and one of the torso 5 missil pod.

It works, ya just get that little spurt of 2 missile following the main mass. Like I said, variants are to taste. If competitive folks are running the 6s, who am I to argue. I like the 4s myself as I indicated.

I'm curious, is there any mech with the tonnage to support LRMs and LPLs? It doesn't matter if you only carry 2tons of amo, the lrms are meant to be fired until you run out, then you close range with lpl and wreck them

Edit: now I'm also curious if you can break the LRM CT launcher to be LRM 2 like you can on the Victor

Yeah, since posting this, I have tweaked and re-tweaked the load-out so that it specialising in primarily one form of fighting, which is medium-long range and gotten ridden of the BAP (which I found to be rather useless in most matches) and it plays a heck of a lot better than my old build I first posted in this thread.
