Been mentioned before, that MWO logs you out at odd intervals.
Anyone else notice that as of this morning the forums do not log you out at all anymore? I even shot down my browser. Manually cleared history. Restarted again, and I am still logged into MWO.
Interesting or something wrong here?

I for one hate being logged out randomly as I am on mobile usually and my hands don't dance across a proper keyboard. Its a PITA.

It logs you out if you log in from another device. Between PC and phone that happens to me a lot. Other than that, never had an issue.

Maybe somebody from PGI was actually trying to use the forums for the first time in 3 years and got sick of being logged out before they could actually post a reply to anything.

The forums will log you out after 24 hours.

As far as I can tell, when logging in the forums grant the browser a cookie that maintains the log in session for a span of 24 hours. This isn't a standard practice. Maybe they've been having issues with session hijacking and implemented the 24 hr standard login as a form of damage control?

Been that way for a very long time. (I don't remember when it wasn't a 24hr)

Really? Huh. I guess I have to admit that I never go 24 hours... <blushes>

I get logged out of forums two three times a night, with no other devices switched on
