So what is your MechWarrior's history?
Also provide Lifepaths (and event rolls) if possible using Classic BattleTech RPG or A Time of War rulesets.

Using myself as an example:

Alizabeth Aijou

Born in 3025 on the planet of Chichibu, in the Ashio prefecture in the Dieron Military District, as the eldest child to a Barony, wealthy from their large whaling holdings. While she was young, she had a severe allergic reaction to whale products, permanently damaging her digestive system. Which, fortunately, wasn't severe enough to stop her from following her later career choice, and attented a Military School at the age of ten. Because of the extensive night-time missions she received there, she came to appreciate and love the darkness of the night, and the cold, merciless light of the moon which exposes those who would hide from her. By the time she was sixteen, her choice was made and enrolled to the Dieron District Gymnasium, although far less prestigious than Sun Zhang or the Sun Tzu Schools of Combat, over a dozen highly skilled MechWarriors graduate anually, which are frequently more battle-ready than those of more prestigious schools. Due to her disability, she decided to take a few years extra for her training, and strove to be a better MechWarrior than her peers and teachers. This allowed her to graduate Summa *** Laude in 3048. To celebrate her graduation, her parents bought her the 'Mech of her choice, one of the newly produced DRG-5K Grand Dragons, and was recruited by the 12th Dieron Regulars stationed on Ashio, a single Jump away from her homeworld.

1: Chichibu is a planet in the Ashio Prefecture in the Dieron Military District, and is known for its whale products.
2: The Dieron District Gymnasium is quite different from regular military academies, and almost all classes are held ad-hoc.

I've been trying to piece together my characters History too. But i keep changing certain aspects.

So far: My character was also born in 3025 on New Avalon. That's probably the only thing i am completely sure on. He will have some small time military history, like in a garrison force or something (I have that idea mainly because i'm sure i'm not going to be brilliant in the game, just average). Plenty of time to think it over anyways!!!

Saddly I came across mech warrior during MechWarrior 2, there for Du'shar is a member of Jade Falcon, so yeah, gonna have to start from scratch, most likely start his story at game launch, posting, wins and losses, and roll play, gotta say really looking forward to it though.

Well since this all taking place with in the inner sphere I was gonna start fresh, the first Du'shar was a Nova Commander in Jade Falcon, after refusing to fire on unarmed Wolf cadets ( breach of honor ) his Kahn challenged him to a Trial of Grievance, after the trial was won Du'shar's core reactor went critical, ending the young nova commanders life.

Its been since the early '80's with Commodore Business Machines and if I remember correctly 2-BattleTech titles I can't remember, then on to Mechwarrior 1 on an original IBMxt, and Mechwarrior 2,3,4 plus Blacknight, then Mercenaries which I still practice with today. all on an ancient joystick I purchased 25 years ago. Tried to do some Fasa BattleTech but RPG's are a bust in Oklahoma.

I thought it would be faster for the role-play-noobs like me that are interested in this to get a link to the stuff so we arent using a wrong version or some selfmade-uber-fanshit that isnt correct.

Hmmmm, i don't really have time to figure out too many of the specifics right now, but preliminary; Alexander was born on Tharkad twenty five years before the game is going to begin (not sure what that is yet). At twenty he joined a mercenary unit that was notable only for its failure to survive battle with the DCMS in its first engagement. In that engagement Alexander was extremely impressed by the warrior spirit of his opponants, and, being one of the only survivors of his unit, resolved to go through whatever was necessary to join that mighty group of warriors. Now, five years later, he had succeeded, and is ready to prove his loyalty to his new nation.
