I've found reference a couple of times of the following commands that can be added to the user.cfg file that are supposed to control the sensitivity of the mouse.
gp_mech_view_zoom_level1_sensitivity_modifier = 0.2 //Zoom 1.5x
gp_mech_view_zoom_level2_sensitivity_modifier = 0.1 //Zoom 3x
gp_mech_view_zoom_level3_sensitivity_modifier = 0.05 //Zoom 4x
See:

http://mwo.gamepedia.com/Mech_Manual
I'm not having much luck making them work. Does anyone know if these still work. I've tried running the repair tool after creating the user.cfg file as I had read that you sometimes needed to do that to get it to work.
Thanks

If you read through that thread, no one posting had it working, but it was also before PGI added the ability to assign actions to the up/down of the mouse wheel, added mouse sensitivity bars and FOV adjustment.
What are you attempting to accomplish? Trying to have more control over mouse speed?
1st. In your system's the control panel, Mouse/Pointer Options, set pointer speed to 6th indention.
2nd. Play with this later but toggle off or on precision. On slows down the Mouse.
3rd. MWO, settings, set Mouse sensitivity to the low end, 0.1 to 0.3, with the other two options to zero.
Edit.
In the keyboard bindings, you can set zoom in/out to the up/down mouse wheel.

Hey, thanks for your reply.
Yes, I did read through it, and though no one posted they got them to work, no one said for certainty that they didn't work, and since I had found them posted elsewhere, I was hoping someone could confirm what the status of them are.
I would like to have a higher sensitivity when I'm not zoomed so I can move my torso full range without having to pick up the mouse. But if I do so then it's almost impossible to hit anything because it's so sensitive. I was thinking that I could set it up so that un-zoomed I have high sensitivity so it will move full range easier, and then on zoom dial it way back to get precision.
If these commands don't work, does anyone know of any way to toggle the mouse sensitivity with the push of a hot key or something?
Thanks

What mouse do you have? Most gaming mice will have a set of DPI buttons to increase/decrease.
Also, what resolution are you playing at?
