So - after looking for MechWarrior sound mods for World of Tanks/War Thunder, I've managed to get my attention on this mech on Sarna.net.

Note to PGI: Please make a exception (in a form a quirk), because the default loadout doesn't get to work otherwise.

Main weaponry for TDK-7X are:

Well - if PGI will bring TDK into MwO like I said, some of TheB33f's design will came back to life ;]

And 4x Medium Laser. Posted Image

What are your throughts about this mech?

Ballistic Awesome.

That is to say; XL Dependent on it's stock loadout.

You give us a wider, squatter atlas with funky hardpoint layout that MAY be able to mount 2 AC20 + 3LPL.

Yep, but at least one of the variants utilize the Light Fusion Engine (LFE), which is mentioned here: http://mwomercs.com/...on-engines-lfe/

If I had to pick a 100t Gauss platform, I'd be more inclined for the Devastator...

2x Gauss
2x PPC
4x MLas

Quite good as well, especially that in MegaMek I've played it's "hero" variant (DVS-X10 MUSE EARTH) :P

This is another mech from the era of the 100 ton 300 XL engine battlemech period. That are all by and large junk when facing the clans on the table top.

Pillager,Thunderhawk and the Devastator are all very expense walking scrap because of the XL engine. And that is when playing the table top game with random hit locations.

But at least in MWo we can easily replace the deathtrap torso bomb engines.

There are few reasons to take the Thunderhawk onto the field of battle where a pair of significantly less expensive Shrek PPC tanks can do the same job. The Thunderhawk has suicide side torso and explosive gauss rifles mounted NEXT to the engine. It's over priced crap.

But this is MWo so it's really just a 100 ton chassis with hardpoints so...sure bring it on.

Sure, but not as easy to transport for invasion and that cost effectiveness comes with some serious vulnerabilities to things like inferno srms, machine guns, cluster bombs from aerospace fighters, etc.

Yup, but if you are in the defensive position in a city, I'd rather have Demolisher tanks and SRM carriers than mechs....

I'd much rather seen an Annihilator if we're going to go for more than two Gauss at a time.

Never played competitive Megamek I take it. Gauss wall with Thunderhawks is a real thing.

No. And I'm a Hell's Horses enthusiast. Tanks are worse (thanks to rules) in general than mechs, and infantry (I'm assuming you mean BA) always dies when unsupported. They stand a good chance against mechs in a close range environment, but if there's even a small amount of room to maneuver the mechs are usually going to win.

Granted there are exceptions, but a combined arms force with mechs is going to beat a conventional force every time (thanks to the rules).

That's why I later said in a city fighting situation....a map that highly constricts mechs is a playground for BA and tanks.

A 'mech that comes with triple gauss by default? That would be cool, too bad PGI will only let us charge and fire 2 gauss at a time nowadays.
