I am really still new to Mechwarrior, but I love the game and would like to get better.
I do apologise if these have already been asked before (I'm sure they have), but here we go.
Could a mech be able to crouch? Surely most mechs would be able to stop and lower if needed to take a little extra cover.
Secondly, could some armed mechs punch? I see some with pretty beefy fists. Would they not be able to swing and deal a small amount of damage to a mech point blank?
Please let me know how these would effect the game from a more serious players point of view. I am happy to learn.
Till then.

In the board game, punch kick and melee weapon like hatchet exist and are quite useful. You need hands for punch
It's technically illegal for clan pilots to use that in the board game ( Clan rule of engagement, etc) and it's a good way for an inner-sphere Battlemech to have a chance against same clan tonnage.
Would be great to have that in the game and an Axeman battlemech !!!!! Will pay for it if it's coming!
