I'm interested in buying the latest mech pack (viper), but I'm not sure I want to shell out an extra $15 for the heros/reinforcements until I see how much I like riding around in the chassis. On the other hand, I'd rather not miss out on the early adopter rewards.
If I just pre-order the standard pack (and get the rewards), can I just shell out an extra $15 after the new mech comes out to get the hero? Or do I need to preorder the whole thing at once?

Get just the lowest buy in, you get the adopter awards.
You can always add in more after it comes out.
Source: owner of founder, Phoenix, Clan waves 1, 2, half of 3, resistance 1, half of resistance 2, Marauder, Phoenix hawk.
I Always throw in the minimum and add in more later.

Yea, just get the base stuff so you have your foot in the door and get all the bonus and pre order stuff. If you truly like the mech you can always upgrade your package, Even after the pre order is over and dont forfeit any pre order bonus'.
