So any one else thing that maybe the first big PGI tournament should be 4vs4? The pros seem to outweigh the cons. They could still do an 8vs8 just later.
Any way just a thought. What do you guys think?
Pros.

• 
  There would be more competitive 4 man teams than there are 8 man teams.
  
• 
  4vs4 broadcasts better and is more entertaining to watch as you can focus more on individual pilot skills and actions.
  
• 
  It makes individual play even more important than 8vs8 or larger.
  
• 
  A good or bad game from one or two people becomes more important.
  
• 
  It increases the odds of upsets.
  
• 
  I enjoy watching it more and thats what important right?
  
• 
  Works in better with a future ranked queue. It would be easier to run a 4vs4 ranked queue and have it populated.
  
• 
  They could give more cash prizes to more teams or more money per person to the top teams.

Cons

• 
  Does not require the teamwork of an 8vs8 or 12vs12.
  
• 
  Less tactical depth than 8vs8 or 12vs12.

I think if we are getting a 8v8 tourney, we should get a 8v8 group queue. Same with 4v4 group queue. I do like this idea.

I can say I would like it more just from a personnel management standpoint. It's quite difficult to put an 8 man team together to compete if your not already in a team.

the Tournament is for a incomplete game, only thing it will do is attract pro E-Sport teams for the cash prize and die off. In the end a Marketing stunt that wont work.
