Possible Culprit For Terrain Bugs.

I've put some thought into the terrain bugs MWO has, and I think they might all be related.

If your mech is midair during server/client desynchronization, one of four things can happen:

1. They synchronize before an issue occurs, resulting in no change,
2. If your mech had an upwards trajectory it will continue upwards at the same rate it had when desynchronization occurred, resulting in the "slingshot bug",
3. If your mech had a downwards trajectory it continues downwards at the same rate it had when desynchronization occured until they resychronize, which deals falling damage for the duration of the desynchronization if it locates your mech inside the map, resulting in "excessive fall damage bug",
4. If condition three exists but the game locates your mech in an out of map area when synchronization occurs your mech gets stuck in the map.

If my theory is correct there will be no solutions for these problems without better server/client interaction. Everyone but Bruce is welcome to tell me how batty I am now, please feel free to share your thoughts!
