I run two builds of Atlas in the main because of their shear size and tonnage, but also because up to a point, they can soak up enemy fire while I do the important stuff, Sniping. However when I saw the Omega for the first time, I instantly knew that this is the unit that I should be fielding; one look at those triple Gauss Rifles is enough to excite any Sniper.

As for twin seated Mechs, have a look at the threads that have discussed command variants; not only are they plausible, but could form the basis of the first real Tactical command unit, a sort of halfway house between MWO & Mech Commander.

I see the Atlas as being the best current unit for conversion to a Twin seat Command Variant; I would prefer the Omega to remain as a Siege Sniper.

Skorpion and Goliath are Lostech Modells.
Basically most of them were build before the Amaris Usurpation. The Usurpation wars damaged the Factories in which
they had been produced and just after the Restorage of the Factories they had been nuked in the first Succesion war.
They never had been popular modells.
And the new Production of Quad Mechs will restart around 3058-3065 so in ten years... at the moment there are only few Quads around and over 300 Years old.

From the comment that "nobody wants to see Jihad era and beyond." That is false. I want to see Jihad Era or beyond for weapons, equipment, and Mechs. Not sure a 150 ton Mech is needed, just pointing out that people do want Jihad Era. Otherwise, if not, I won't get my Jenner 10-X.
