Nope. No opponents no missions.

There might actually be ghost drops for 4v4.

But the counter ticks up, not down (like in regular CW). My group quit @ 9:45 apparently so its possible we only had to wait 15 seconds more to ghost.

Need confirmation that this is true however, or else the assumption is there are no ghost drops.

Since you don't have to kill anyone to scout, yes. No one has problems with attacking empty bases, so why is this any different?

Technically... not showing up makes for a better defense (until the nukes... I mean Long Tom shows up).

I have a problem with attacking empty bases, it's boring AF. Turret drops are completely stupid in 12 vs 12's, I'd rather just look for a better planet and reque over fighting turrets and gens.

Well... we're kinda back to "ghost drops" killing CW.. I mean FW.

I know, the population is severely spread out everywhere between two separate queues and between the 4vs4 scouting and 12vs12 planet conquest. I mean this is patch day and everybody and there moms are trying out Community Warfare right now and the 12 man queue's are dead and the 4vs4 queue's aren't that populated, being a 4vs4 saving it from long waits as well. Can't wait to see what the wait times are like when the hype is gone.

No one is arguing that ghost drops are fun. But what is the point of the 4v4 matches if you can deny the enemy the benefits by just not playing them?

Ghost drops didn't kill FW. It enabled it to happen. Ghost drops/ LP farming kept players dropping when otherwise they would have just quit after 5 minutes. This gave people a chance to respond and kept the mode alive.

Exactly.

I expect Cw to work passebly for the next couple days and maybe a week or two.

But the system is going to collapse after a month.

tried playing earlier. Could not play invasion at all, no players. Tried 4v4, took awful long. Had one ghost drop even. Gave up.

I can confirm that it ghost drops in 4v4 if no one shows up after 10 minutes. Happened to me twice vs Wolf.

10 min is too slow for what should be fast matches and 20/600 points, it should be 5 min wait. Shouldn't take 10 minutes to find 4 people...

Ghost dropping for long toms.... seems like a good reason for bigger units to have alts set up to overload the 4v4 queue.

What I love is the people dropping in locusts while pugging in scout queue - then rush off to fight mediums instead of gathering intel.

If you're pugging in scout queue you're insane. There's no room in 4v4 for stupids so when you get even 1 on your team it's a bust.
