[For Whom The Bell Tolls]

Hi all, today I met an idiot (sorry for the word, but that what he is) that had nothing better to do than attack mates all time during a 12v12.
I had to kill him to not die and I had a penalty due to teamkill.
Now, is there a way to avoid those penalties?
I mean, should be possible to allow mates to tell that a mate had committed a teamkill to defend himself from a troll and in this case dodge a penalty?

ps: if needed I remember part of his name and his UNIT

No, the penalty is not avoidable. It's also not a large penalty, last I checked.

Just report the guy, defend yourself if needed, and move on.

Next time just shoot his leg off and walk away. Either that or LET him kill you and then get him banned.

I tried at start, but he got a raven and my aim sux a lot when I am in panic... lol

I did something similar last time someone started deliberately friendly firing on me. He said my Highlander IIC was an LRM boat and wasn't contributing to the team. So I turned around and ripped off his left torso, right arm, and one of his legs with 2xUAC10 and 3xMPL... I don't think it occurred to him that 2xLRM10 on a 90 ton clan mech is "filler" not "boating".

Before they implemented the crazy penalty

I would send an e-mail to support
Saying this so and so started shooting me so I shot back
Then I sent in all the info I could

You still will get a penalty but at least you provided info on why you did what you did

Don't fire back at him at all - the match is garbage anyways, you're better off just ending it and starting a new one, you're GOING to lose if you've got someone killing friendlies. A 13v11 match is grossly one sided.

So, let him kill you, then click on his name on the scoreboard and report him for teamkilling.

Killing him yourself may make you feel better, but it adds to your overall teamkill count (PGI tracks how many teamkills people have over time, it's used in teamkilling report investigations) and is against the TOS.

Let him dig his own grave, report him, and move on to another match.

Ya that's probably the best option. You're not only down a player but they are striping you of armor. As soon as you notice they're intentionally trying to kill you report them. Then tell your team who is intentionally trying to kill you and ask them to report them as well.
