Instead of having a 90m no damage zone on the PPC, wich is wrong it never was like that in the boardgame. How about having diminish damage instead to a minimum of 5 at pointblank range.

or rather just get rid of that stupid thing.

I agree, it can be like:
0 ->15m 0 dmg
15 ->30m 1 dmg
30 ->45m 2 dmg
45->60m 3 dmg
60->75m 4 dmg
75->90m 5 dmg
90->max range 10 dmg

but, but, but that would make the PPC useful at all ranges and we can't have such an O so over powerful weapon be useful or anything like that.

lets face it it would never happen, its like trying to get them to remove the MWO GR's explosion when its hit and no charge is in the weapon.

I was thinking more like:
0-30m : 5dmg
31-40m:6
41-50m:7
51-60m:8
61-90m:9

ish....

or just make it a backwards snubnose PPC Posted Image

also they really need to fix the fail short range of IS LRM there is no reason that they should do no damage within 200m. But since they can't really make it harder to hit since we aim ourselves, they need to make les missiles hit within that range.

I know that LRMs are weak but in min useless which sucks.
I can understand the IS missiles as they need time to arm but still should do some damage just by being hit by missiles even if they don't explode, there is still impact.

Clan LRMs on the other hand should be doing full damage if all the missiles hit regardless of range as they are advanced system that doesn't have the arming problems that the IS counterparts have.

I was comparing to how it actually work in the boardgame.

Where IS have a minium range and Clan LRMs do not.
The minimum range just makes it harder to hit, the closer the target is.
In the fluff desciption it say that it is because the missiles have too short time to arm at that short range.

That can be implemented in a few ways but in no way shape or form should IS LRM do 0 damage within 200m. Just like PPC should not do 0 damage within 90m.

I agree, they like the Std PPCs should still do some damage up close.
