Almost regret buying, except for cool camo...

The current only weapon quirk suck. Why not go with something totally different for once?

My suggestion would be to go with Energy Cooldown 50% as the only weapon quirk. With that much energy hardpoint, one would have to consider this quirk carefully and learn to manage heat.

Any other cool suggestions for the TOP DOG? Looks like PGI need help here.

Hey Top Dog, line starts over there. behind the Summoner, Kitfox, Mif Lynx, Vindicator, Commando, Spider...

tried now with the mobility buff. it's great as always. 6MPL+3ML STD300. now, agility + atlas like structure.

Never tried this one but I usually don't have great success in brawl with it so now I use 4 LL and help from a safe distance.

The accel / decel upgrades on a red hot laser poker is a pretty big deal.

I like my Loup de Guerre more than my TD.

It's a cool idea. Unfortunately, PGI doesn't do cool ideas.

All quirks have to be 25% or less.

Except for structure quirks that is, because +100% or higher structure on some mechs is totally fine.

However, +10% weapon quirks are OP disgusting freakmonsters that make TTK plummet into the ground and break any semblance of balance that the game has, while simultaneously burning down orphanages and ****** children.

The Top Dog got buffs and people complain ?

The buffs it got are irrelevant to gameplay.

-10% heat gen, and it would be all set.

New trend looks to be Heat Dissipation

The thing is TOP DOG was once a very good mech and then got the shaft when energy range quirks were obliterated for no fault of TOP DOG, it's now meh, lots of mechs received the same big nerfs because of other mechs abusing them, it's what happens when you roll out blanket nerfs.

Weapon cooldown is fairly useless on this mech - it's heat generation is already too high considering it is an all laser mech. If it could carry a bigger engine perhaps? Something like a 350 XL with the two extra internal heat sinks, that would be something pretty nice I think. Some reduced heat gen would be an added bonus.

Engine restrictions really do severely limit build options on some platforms, but that is especially true with the Clan mechs.

Depends... would have liked to give it a go for something different and that's why I said learning how to manage heat would be required. You could fire PPC quickly and as one pointed out you can coolshot twice but doubt you get a kill from this.

Next, instead of running many energy you could try with only one or two and pack remaining HS or DHS, something different I'd like to try.

Or since it has 9 energy, fire SL or SPL lightning fast but in very close range so you're at risk but with latest speed quirk that should help you do your job in a unusual way, similar to a light but with tons of armor and slower, again something I would like to try.

Current 10% range only is a joke and no fun.
