My 4-mans have gone 21:4 for the IS. Load up on good mechs that counter streakboats and you'll win a lot. You need a mix of high DPS, speed, and tankiness. But you also must have better aim than the aimbotstreaks. If you can't focus components reliably for efficient kills, you're going to lose a lot against streaks. Streaks focus random components, they are inefficient, so you can beat them by playing tight.

Just don't pick lights. Griffin 2N is the way to go in my opinion. Streak-Crows eat every IS-light for breakfast. Due to XL-dependancy the griffs still have a hard time against crows but it is managable.

The Big Wang and the AH are also excellent. DEM LEGS.
Love my 2N having a good job now. ECM is a powerful tool in 4 v 4 I'm finding.

please for the love of god.... lower the tons to 35 - 45 tons... 55 ton mediums are NOT scouts...

Got mixed feelings. I originally looked forward to scout mode with SCOUTS (Lights only) then found out about the tonnage limit at 55....well, allright let's go brawling. I have to say Scouting as a solo player in a random dropdeck is a pain in the a** right now on IS side. If you encounter the living nightmare consisting of 3 Streakcrows and one Clan-Jenner with SRMs you will most likely lose.
I agree that such a one-sided loadout (Short-Range, Streaks) is beatable when you counter it and drop in a premade adjusting your mechs accordingly. If that is what Scout mode in FW looks like, be it - i just won't drop solo anymore but it does not meet my intentional expectations concerning "scouting".
I like the ideas with the stuff you get for gathering intel, (they nerf the Long-Tom, i guess) so that feels quite rewarding imho.

very much this
good thing is, streams aimbot but they are guaranteed spread. Unless someone turns hsi side to the streamboat making the majority hit the arm and then the side Torso.
