so ive played a few scout games. and have noticed a few glaring issues.

first off the spawn location is too predictable. our team managed to splash the entire enemy lance within a klick of their spawn point.

secondly, where is that fire support we were promised. on successful scouting runs you pretty much have to stand under the drop ship running around like a chicken with its head cut off (this actually is the winning strategy as its worked twice so far). i kind of expected to see the drop ship spewing blue lasers everywhere.

i haven't evaced on the same map twice yet, but i bet the dust off zones are in exactly the same place every time. so if one team doesnt get spawn camped, then the other will get camped at the dustoff. these static drop and spawn zones need to be much more dynamic.

you have to hump the beacons to get the intel. it would be nice if their radius was a bit larger.

the scores are atrocious unless you are on defense, even if you pull off a successful scout. you dont have any xp or cbills to show for it. unless the scouts kill all the defenders there is no way to score.

then there are the lack of servers, but that was to be expected. there need to be incentives to do invasion when there are too many scout missions going on.

these are the most glaring offenses. others will be discovered.

e:

doing a scout run resets your drop deck. thanks pgi!
