this is a thing i usually do if im in a very bad situation where death is certain. like when im surrounded and i just lost a leg. id rather get a couple alphas and put some damage on my killers before i check out. its that or panic and die a meaningless death trying to hobble out of there. then there are those times i do it and end up getting 2 kills, and shut down in the at just the right moment, then come out of a long shutdown alive.

Overrides that cause you to melt while fighting are not violations of the terms of conduct. Now go be dumb somewhere else.

Overriding while fighting is not breaking ToS, bud. Overriding then hiding in a corner and shooting walls til you explode is breaking ToS.
Well then you should take that up with PGI because their official rules say different.

I get multiple deaths do to overload per night, basically games I know are losses when I am playing against players who can not kill a light switch quickly but still managed to get 6 members of my team who never left the back row. I basically make it race between how much extra damage I can get while 3-4 of them tragically play keystone cops.
I also make no bones about using this PGI implemented tool and will be willing to change my behavior at any time if PGI states that any overload suicide during combat is against rules and punishment will be handed out.
Nothing has happened so far, and I will continue to try and deny anything I can to my enemy while using PGIs in game tools.
FYI suiciding to grief your own team's chance of winning or not engaging the enemy and suiciding is what I think the CoC is about. Only PGI can clarify this specifically.
