Create a merc pool per say where 8 to 11 man units can recruit players from the pool to make up numbers for a cw drop. That way players who are solo might learn team work by the elite teams in CW. If you enter the merc pool a unit that might be short 1 to 3 players effectively hires you short term for their drop. This allows units that need to actively recruit to test new pilots and keep recruiting in CW. It also allows solo style players to experience the CW team play, and find if it is to their liking or not. By joining the merc pool you must either be faction of the team recruiting, be a merc, or allied house faction. Allowing large units the ability to pull from a set merc pool would then give them chance to make up numbers on some drops. When players might not otherwise be available such slow night, most sleeping, eating etc. When using the merc pool make warning though suggesting the players have elited mechs and at least 200 missions completed in quick play before trying the merc pool. Might even require that the player has at least 200 missions done and at least one elited mech before they can enter the merc pool. Units should be at least in group of 8 or more players of the same unit before they can hire out the merc pool to make up their CW drop for 12 man.
