(I can't find any tech support subfora.)
In-game, I can see the little indicator with the player's name pop up when they talk, but I don't hear them saying anything. SFX (stomping sounds, pew pews) are working fine. What can I do about this?

have you tried going to settings and enabling the voice chat or toggling the sound?

That only affects your voice chat as far as I know. I know because every time I load up MWO I have to go in there, disable VOIP, save the settings, leave the settings menu, re-open it, re-enable VOIP and save it again before I'm able to speak to other players.
I can hear them just fine anytime I login, but to actually contribute I have to do what I just said.

It's working now. I had to change the setting for my playback device under audio settings.
