So... Any reason why this isn't a thing???

I've done a handful of ghost drops in the past... And holy **** are they boring. Props to you guys that are willing to do that for hours. That's dedication. Mech walking simulator 2016.
AI mechs are in game. You've seen them in the tutorial... Even if they are just empty husks that run in a straight line, jump and shoot. Why hasn't PGI implemented them into Ghost drops just for some extra spice? Or just to test them. They wouldn't be hard to kill by any means, their loadouts and total HP can vary. Anything is better than shooting at turrets for a year.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that, a easier solution though would be to just get rid of the pointless and boring ghost drops.

Something that shoots back would be appreciated here. If it is not turrets I'm even happier.

I think they ain't planning to include AI. Even if Cryengine has AI build in, I bet developing that would be too much of effort for PGI atm besides from what's in the tutorials (I think there are mechs shoting back aint there?)

So we will remain having ghost drops. Well at least they are free money...

I'd just rather see some sort of payout for the wasted time. Sit in queue for 20+ minutes, only to end up with a ghost drop. Could have racked up almost a million cbills in the solo queue during that time. They need to pay us every time they "transfer pilot and mechs."
