While at work surfing the forums it sure would be nice if I could make a mech purchase with c-bills without having to be in game.
Is there a way to do that?

Sadly no. You can only purchase with real money or MC if not in the game.

you can only spend MC or Cbills in the ingame store, the out of game store is only for real money purchases.
