When you consider how many Clan mechs there are in game, the percentage of mechs with ECM is WAY higher.

How about some more IS mechs with MASC?

Cataphract 3L has MASC (it is a CTF-1X with MASC) and is probably still in the game files, but that is another kinda meh MASC mech.

I wouldn't mind the actually good Wolverine with MASC that they didn't add and instead gave us the worthless one.

Then there is the Flea :3

Outside of that I don't remember if there is any ones that had it in lore.

I wouldn't mind seeing mechs that had TSM variants at some point get MASC capability (like maybe a Raven >_>).

Hell I'd love to just see more Clan mechs, or just mechs in general for that matter.

The Upcoming P-hawk should have a variant or two that have it.

Clans only appear to have more MASC because of the way the dev's adapted the omni system. At the end of the day, IS has a few variants that will have it.

No, really. For the current mechs in the game, the only ones with MASC are the ones that have it equipped stock canon (excluding upcoming made-up Spirit Bear hero). PGI doesn't give MASC to canon variants that don't have it stock.

I covered that in the OP, and it's one variant. So 2 mechs where the Clans have 3, much higher percentage of available chassis on the Clan side.

What I'm saying is if each side only fought against its own Factions it wouldn't matter whether Clan or IS 'mechs had more MASC or ECM than the other.

The IS version of masc has a tonnage rating that kind of makes it pretty worthless unless your mech is 75+ tons doesn't it?

What are the stats for the different MASC modules again? Like the percentages I mean. I wanna know how much benefit the different Mk. Masc's give to their weight classes.

Because this is how "clans get better tech" actually MEANS something in this game maybe? I really cant think of any other way that gets represented that doesnt have some major tradeoff somehow.

Clans have more masc because they have a special bone in their legs that makes them run faster. That's why all the sports teams hire them.
