Light mechs:
Raptor (3052) - 25 tons
Owens (3056) - 35 tons
Medium mechs:
Firestarter (3056) - 40 tons
Strider (3057) - 40 tons
Blackjack (3057) - 50 tons
Heavy mechs:
Avatar (3056) - 70 tons
Assault mechs:
Sunder (3056) - 90 tons
There's enough to do a 1-1-1-1 Mech pack, although PGI has expressed that they don't want to do those anymore. Seeing how profitable single mech packs are, that's no surprise.
Do you think we'll get IS Omnimechs soon, with or without the timeline being pushed to 3056 or 3057? Would you pay for these? Some of them have the potential to be really good, I think. Though I'm not sure I would pay money for them.

So... I guess I'll just wait for the Axman. Shouldn't be too long, right?

You can't tell me the Raptor wouldn't instantly obsolete the COM-D and at least compete with the WLF-1 as a ground-bound light skirmisher.
-Edit- The Raptor has DHS

It goes the speed of a Mist Lynx, so it wouldn't obsolete anything.

Right. Although there aren't that many that have DHS, Endo and a big enough engine for their size, sadly.

A bit slow and it doesn't have FF.So yes, I can tell you that.Besides, even if one mech is ok, the rest are still bad.

Don't forget about locked engines!
Sunder has a big XL which could ruin this mech if the hitboxes aren't very good.
And the Raptor is too slow for it's weight.

Well... The Raptor is one of the better ones on this list. The Strider would compete for worst mech in game. The BJ omni would be going assault mech speed, etc.

Lets talk about the Sunder.
35 tons of podspace from what I remember.
Optimal hardpoint layout without made up variants is essentially 1 Ballistic in left arm, 2 E in torsos, 2 E in right arm, 2 M in CT and 1M in the Head, 15 hardlocked DHS. Essentially the prime variant hardpoints, why bother being an Omni-mech!?
So, you could do a Gauss, 2 LPL and 2 MLs and an extra heatsink. Pretty underwhelming for a 90 tonner.
Or AC20, 4 MPLs, 3 SRM4s.. meh.
I don't know, anyone see anything hopeful?
