Hello, this is my tribute for the Timberwolf from MW3050.

All Mechs are special, and awesome, and in my humble opinion, this one is the most uber aggressive of them all, them fantastic Timberwolf.

Not sure in which section this should have been posted, but still, i will be sharing it with the community, mods, feel free to move this to the appropriate section.

Thanks

Your version of the Timber Wolf is too narrow. Also, the legs are way too large. You've got a 60-tonner main body sitting on the legs of a 100-tonner. The launchers are supposed to sit on top of the shoulders, not be the shoulders.

It is a nice sketch though ... you did it much better than I ever could have.

I know its not perfect =\ and i made the sketch in like 10mins, and made just for fun, didnt use a ruler to do measurments or anything >.<.

The Timberwolf is actually a 75ton heavy mech =x, and i know that the LRM are supposed to be upon the shoulders and not be the shoulders, but when i thought that it would look akward having those thin arms nowadays, it would make more sense making the LRMs turn into the shoulder-piece, and it would turn out to be a little bit more logical to have the energy weapon in a position where they still could move side-ways and up-down, not that im a engineer.
And about the legs, the Timberwolf, the TW had long and big legs since the earlier games, and he was a fast mech even being from the heavy class, but still they would be to skinny if they would follow the original design, just the though of one rocket, or a PPC hitting the legs make me imagine the legs breaking like a dry branch.

As the drawing was made in a short amount of time, there are its flaws, and as i dont have any graphic equipment to draw them and make a pretty drawing im sorry for the ones i couldnt please =\ it was just a attempt from my part to make a Timberwolf =D

It was just a token of my gratitude for the one that created the timberwolf and made my childhood have awesome moments af havoc.

That is a nice looking mech.

A terrible looking Mad Cat, but a nice looking mech.

The legs look hideous. Way, way too big.

And I agree with the above post. Looks decent (except for the legs), but not for a Timber Wolf.

Looks like a Rakasha mech(an IS attempt at copying the Mad Cat/Timberwolf). No reason for a full redesign, the current one is not in violation of copyrights and is a relatively recent design(as far as BT artwork is concerned)

Eh that's very well done. The Timberwolf/Madcat has always been one of my three favourite mechs (the others being Maddog/Vulture and the Catapult) but I was never much of a fan of the whole boxyness of the Timberwolf/Madcat. I like the way you gave it some angles and dimensions.

The feet are a little wonky though :/
