Grim Portico style map for the Scouting game mode is particularly bad, with the dropship having a number of points in the outer ring it can use as an extraction point.
These scouting mission strongly favor the attackers. I don't think having any defending mech in the LZ prevent pick up is a fair counter - a lone scout needs a chance to escape with the data.
I would like to see a health bar on the enemy dropship, such that when it arrives it is possible but difficult to "drive off" the drop ship by shooting it enough that the pilot decides the LZ is too hot and leaves.
As an aside, I think this would be popular in letting us work out some aggression against the Dropship MVPs of the previous Faction Play phases.
