If you want a UNIT channel just let me know via Discord. Look for username Ty in the user list.
I'm not really worried about spies since you can verify who you are playing with.

I created this one after asking if there was one already created several times and no one spoke up. I understand there are a few Teamspeak servers but I hate Teamspeak.

While I applaud you initiative, I fear you are putting barriers between you and the rest of the MWO community.
TeamSpeak is the accepted default for communication by at a guess 90%+ of the community (of those that use a 3rd party voip service).
By using a service that's not the community adopted default you make communication with them harder.
Something to consider.
