I've given a lot of support for this game, but this problem has annoyed me to the point where I've come to this section of forums for help. I dont wont to go through support because it could take up to 3 weeks for a response.

When I try to log into the game (have entered my password and pressed enter), then the game crashes. Usually after I try a second time it works, but occasionally I have to try up to 5 times before it will let me log in.

I suspect it might have something to do with my user.cfg. However, I have gone through the omicron log, and crash log. Any time I saw an error with one of my user.cfg commands, or saw "crash dump to disc," then I would go back to my user.cfg and remove that command.

I have also

1. Ran repair tool

2. Checked my graphics console to make sure everything is set to "Use Application Setting"

3. Checked for updates to my Direct X, C++, and .Net

4. Reinstalled game

5. Made an exception in my Firewall settings.

I'm not sure if this is placebo,

but I think it helps to skip the Intro slowly, I.E. the pirranah logo, the mini MWO cinematic that leads to the login screen.

Try to leave 1 second for each before you skip it, and dont mash buttons repeatedly trying to skip them.
