To add to Rogue's explanation:

There are additional differences...
UACs not only get the double shot (with jam chance) but have faster cooldown rates On Top of this.
All ACs consume 1 slot more than UACs for Clans.
On the other hand...

Clan AC/2 has greater range (900 x2 = 0 damage at 1800 meters Versus UAC/2 810 x2 = 0 damage at 1620 meters).
Takes same amount of time to fire as UAC/2's standard rate.

Clan AC/5 has greater range (720 x2 = 0 damage at 1440 meters Versus UAC/5 630 x2 = 0 damage at 1260).
Takes 0.14 seconds longer to reload and fire than the UAC/5.

Clan AC/10 has identical range to UAC/10.
Clan AC/10 is 1 unit Colder than UAC/10 per use.
Takes 0.40 seconds longer to reload and fire than the UAC/10.

Clan AC/20 has identical range to UAC/20.
It is 1 unit colder than the UAC/20 per use.
It takes 0.70 seconds longer to reload and fire than the UAC/20.

Sooo.... basically cAC are a tid bit colder then cUAC but all in all pretty useless?

Got to say, up until now I'm most impressed with cSRMs. Their weight to damage ratio is impressive. I'm so glad they were able to fix srm dmg or better hit reg in the 3 years I was away. Wasnt sure about it Posted Image

Basically Hit Reg was the main issue that let me drop the game. Ghost Heat was annoying and imo not a fix to the real problem, but its not a big deal. But hey. Really enjoying the game again :)
